On this 1/4 of an acre site we had a huge site clearance to undertake removing 50 year old leylandii trees to open up the site before we could commence any further works. All trees were felled and mulched on site.
In the client brief they had requested a garden room and terrace maximising sunlight along with an outdoor kitchen and to work the garden around the central hub and to incorporate a large lawn for the dogs.
Varied planting styles were used from block planted azalea for maximum colour on north facing beds to grass and herbaceous borders, espalier tree planting, maple trees with japanese forest grass and varied shrub planting throughout with smaller specimen trees strategically planted for eye catching moments. Hedging was also used along the boundaries to provide screening from neighbours year round.
The lighting scheme is worked through a smart system which is app controlled or controlled via panels on the wall of the house or garden room. Multi settings can be chosen to provide the perfect setting for all occasions
