After a new build is complete its time to get the garden sorted and oh boy this garden works a dream. Split levels from the house lead out to an elevated garden full of sun all day long.
As the client loves to entertain we designed a garden room on a new terrace but the trick was to make the garden room flow with the outside. We achieved this using bifold glass sliding walls that open up each section of this room meaning both floors run seamlessly. It was also important to keep the structure light in feeling so we designed a steel frame with a plastered finish to complement the house itself.
Ample indoor seating in front of the mains gas fire for those little chats is possible all year long whilst outside an awning sits recessed into the steel to either protect from rain or the suns rays. Outdoor cooking to the fore including built in BBQ, fridge and a chilled champagne tray – what more could you ask for. The remaining garden contains a lovely panelled lawn surrounded by plenty of planting and a small synthetic lawn at the rear for the kids to play on. Perfect for all the family.
