Rathfarnham Park
At the rear of this beautifully designed house lay a bare open space that was not aesthetically appealing any way, The garden is east, north east facing so most of the sun is down the rear of the garden later in the day.
As the family of this property work during the day, it was important to create a space with sunlight for the evening that everyone can enjoy. We designed and built a large, free-standing custom garden room with specially designed louvered roof systems, custom-fitted into a steel structure. The finish around the structure features beautiful iroko hardwood, which maintains a rich appearance all year round.
At one end of the building, we incorporated a simple but effective wardrobe-style storage unit, and at the other end, a basic outdoor kitchen—creating a seamless flow of seating and dining in between. The garden itself is filled with lush planting, where form and structure play an important role in the overall planting scheme. Feature lighting and mood lighting are used throughout to enhance the space.
All work was carried out through a 700mm-wide side passage, with all tasks completed by Greenstone staff.
