This garden is extremely small for the size of the house so it was important to create a real feel of space. The client had requested an outdoor area that could be used all year round. We came up with a scheme by installing new support walls with a build in remote control gas fire sitting nicely under an automated louvered pergola with the roof opening at the push of a button. This allows maximum light into this small space at any stage but also offer covers from the rain. Frameless glass sliding doors open back to invite you inside but also make the garden feel twice as big with the seamless flow from inside to outside. A small storage unit was also designed and build on the right side which mainly houses bikes and smaller house items. A really super space within this small city garden.
