This review is long overdue. My wife and I spent 6 months looking for Landscapers / Gardeners that could translate our vision into reality. At the point of giving up we meet Ross from Greenstone Landscape. He was the first to measure the garden space and offered to undertake the design for a nominal price. His designs where fantastic and reflected all our needs and wishes.
Ross was very flexible on the approach and following multiple tweaks to the initial design we agreed the layout and the start dates. Ross and his team arrived on time and completed on schedule with no delays. During the work we hit some issues that Keith the Project Manager address immediately and nothing was an issue that could not be resolved. The Greenstone team where always professional and above all a great bunch of guys.
At the end of the project we have ended up with a fantastic garden where we have had multiple BBQ and parties. As the plants start to mature we are only starting to truly appreciate how great the result is.
We would not hesitate recommending Ross and the Greenstone team as they have delivered 100% on our vision.

We sourced RJF design online and set up a meeting with Ross. We gave him our wish list and he produced a set of plans and a virtual tour of his plans. We initially looked at scaling back our plans to reduce costs but Ross convinced us of the long term benefits of his plans and now that we are enjoying our new Garden that was the best decision we took. All the team in RJF were a pleasure to deal with and worked to the highest standard to produce a Garden that definitely has the WOW factor.
We don’t recommend people unless we have first hand experience and it is without hesitation that we recommend Ross and his Team. If your budget allows, give Ross your wish list and then give him free reign to design the garden of your dreams. He won’t let you down.
Ross and his team are great to work with both during the design and construction phase. Ross is very creative designer that likes to push design boundaries. We found the 4D drawings to be very useful, in essence it gave us a full picture of the end product almost down to the material finishes. What we got in the end was completely in line with the original designs.
Ross is easy to work with and a genuine problem solver. As we ran into structural challenges they were easily addressed and quickly overcome. The project we had was large in scale and highly complex. We had many challenges along the way but never had to compromise the design. Ross and his team always had the right solution.
Lastly but importantly Ross and his team are extremely trustworthy, they treated our home like their own so we weren’t left with a mess every time the builders were offsite. They always tidied up after themselves so that our 3 young kids were save around the building site.

I could not fault Greenstone Landscapes for the work they carried out in transforming a patio that was under-utilised into an incredible out-door room. They listened to what we wanted, advised us on the logistics but never compromised on the dream. Nothing we asked for was too big, too small or too insignificant. Their vision married seamlessly to ours to create a priceless addition to our house, home and lifestyle.
The workers were gentleman of the highest order who worked from early morning through deluges of rain and Ross oversaw every detail from planning stage to the final outdoor light bulb! He approached the project as though it were his personal own. I could not recommend Greenstone Landscapes more. A pleasure to do business with them of which we are now and into the future reaping the benefits.
Our objective was to clean up and ultimately maximise the use of a relatively small suburban garden. Although we had some ideas in mind, Ross helped us to understand ‘the art of the possible’. We also wanted a solution – from design through to implementation. Our objectives were not only met but greatly exceeded. Ross and the team were excellent.
We handed over the keys and let them at it. We now have a garden room which is usable throughout the year – not just in the Summer months. We’re really delighted with the outcome and would definitely recommend Ross and the team.
In summary the unique customised design, implementation of the design and team were excellent from start to finish. it was a significant program of work (clearing the site, construction throughout and the extensive tiling and planting)
We ended up with a great extended social area with integrated BBQ with high quality tiles/tiling. In addition, we have now two split level garden areas, storage and recreational room at the back. There is an excellent variety of planting and lighting throughout.

Ross Farrell provides a very professional service. He has a great understanding of a clients needs. In our project Ross came up with some great ideas to suit our requirement for a minimal Maintenance Garden and has the vision as to how the finished project looks. His team of workers are very professional and courteous and were on site every morning from 7.30am to 4.0pm daily Mon to Fri, and there was minimal disruption to us.
I got a few different landscape companies to quote me for a new patio and although Ross and greenstone weren’t the most competitive I felt that he had a really good understanding of whet I wanted. Whets more his quote is all inclusive .. No hidden extras crop up during the job which is very reassuring .the job started on time and finished within the time frame given ( weather considered ).
Ross’s team were professional, friendly , open to suggestions , offered opinions when asked and overall a pleasure to deal with. Ross is highly experienced , has great vision but is very open to the clients ideas,requirements and budget.
